STEVENS Releases Post About Pre-engineered Metal Building Benefits

 STEVENS Engineers & Constructors has recently released a post about the benefits of pre-engineered metal buildings.

One of the benefits highlighted is the open floor plans options that prefabricated metal building kits give business owners or project managers.  

Thanks to the open floor plan versatility companies can design their steel structures to how it will work optimally for them. 

For example, if someone is designing a recreational sports facility the clearspan design allows for the owner to put in as many basketball, tennis, or volleyball courts as needed.  

The other benefit that metal building kits provide is for easy expansion.  Looking at the above scenario if the owner finds out that he or she doesn't have enough courts, the option for expansion is much easier compared to if they used traditional building materials.  

When using traditional building materials, much more has to go into the planning of the expansion than if it were a steel building.  This means that things are shutdown longer, and the company is losing money.
